Linton water course project

September 23 2020

Construction of a new watercourse has started at Linton Military camp. The existing storm water network is being moved to free up space for new logistics facilities and to mitigate flooding issues at the camp.

Around 800m of the new watercourse is being realigned (to the South of the camp) where the land is slightly more elevated. This means the new water course needs to be deeper and wider than the existing water course in order maintain the hydraulic grade (water flows downhill).
