181 native planted by students at Seddon Range in Trentham

September 11 2020

On Wednesday 9 September, five students and two teachers from Hutt International School (HIBS) braved the weather, along with NZDF staff, to plant 181 native plants at Seddon Range in Trentham, Upper Hutt.

The plants were raised from seedlings by HIBS students.

These trees add to the several thousand planted by Trentham Ecological Restoration Project volunteers, over the past five years, along around 650m of the new stream channel and wetland.
